"Leave the World Behind" filmed scenes in different parts of Riverhead on Thursday, April 28, and Friday, April 29, according to Riverhead Town officials.

Officials said the shoots took place at the following locations:

  • Hulse Landing Road, between Sound Avenue and New York Route 25A
  • Sound Avenue, between East Winds Drive and Hulse Landing Road
  • Twomey Avenue, between Sound Avenue and Youngs Avenue
  • Horton Avenue, between Reeves Avenue and Sound Avenue

The film also stars Mahershala Ali and Ethan Hawk and is directed by Sam Esmail.

According to Deadline, the film is a thriller based on Rumaan Alam's novel by the same name.
